In School Mental Health Services
I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 20 years’ experience working with children, young people, adults, and families across a broad range of mental health and wellbeing concerns.
For the past five years, I have worked as an external private practitioner providing in-school mental health support bulk billed under Medicare Mental Health Care Plans. Delivering therapy within the school environment supports early intervention, accessibility, and continuity of care, while reducing barriers for families.
I provide on-site mental health and psychological support within primary school settings, operating as an external private practitioner. Services are delivered during school hours and are designed to complement existing wellbeing structures, supporting early intervention, accessibility, and continuity of care for students.
In-school services include individual therapeutic support, small group programs, and collaborative consultation with wellbeing staff, leadership, and families. Interventions are child-centred, trauma-informed, and neuro-affirming, and are tailored to support students experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, trauma responses, neurodiversity, eating concerns, and adjustment challenges.
If your school is interested in exploring in-school mental health support or enhancing existing wellbeing services, I would welcome the opportunity to discuss flexible, school-based options.
